3 EASY HOMEMADE CHOWDERS

3 Simple Chowders to Make, Serve and Store

All chowders begin the same way:

Ingredients

3 T           Butter

1/4 Cup    Onion, Finely Diced

1/4 Cup    Celery, Finely Diced

3 T            Flour

2 Cups      Milk

2 Cups      Chicken Broth (Recipe for Homemade on previous Blog)

Saute the vegetables in the melted butter for 3 minutes. On low heat, sift the flour slowly into the pan, stirring constantly to avoid lumps and add  1/2 Cup milk at a time, constantly stirring. When all the milk has been added it is time to add the broth slowly on low heat while you stir. Each of the Recipes begin like this and the added ingredients and instructions are added. Now you are ready to go!
